Eco Friendly JapanIn this day and age, people everywhere are doing their best to become more eco-friendly. This even includes the country of Japan. The Japanese government has even become serious enough in wanting a more eco-friendly country. They are now offering subsidies to 153 corporate investment projects that are geared towards reducing carbon dioxide emissions within the country.

One eco-friendly project that has been completed in Japan is the eco-friendly vending machine. The machine is called Ecoru/Solar. These eco-friendly vending machines come pre-equipped with solar panels along the top of the vending machines. There are currently around 1,500 of these eco-friendly vending machines.

The eco-friendly dry box, and vending machines have since started a trend. There are now more and more companies wanting to come out with their own version of the eco-friendly vending machine. One company who is next in line is Fuji Electric. However, they will be installing a much different version. Their version will have moss growing on the inside to keep it well insulated during the winter season.

Another Japanese company that is making a breakthrough with eco-friendly inventions is Sanyo. Sanyo has recently come out with an electric bike called the Eneloop. This provides a great alternative for people to ride an electric bike instead of driving their cars.

One extremely well-known Japanese electronics company that is releasing an eco-friendly computer is Sony. Sony has developed the Sony VAIO W Series 212AX Eco Edition. A little under a quarter of the materials used to make the laptop are from reprocessed plastics. Also, the user manual is in electronic form to save on trees. The carrying case is also made out of recycled PET material.

As you can see, Japan is making a sincere effort in becoming more eco-friendly. There will be many more eco-friendly inventions and advances within the country. With the government offering subsidies for eco-friendly advances, this is a sure incentive to get people going.
